DIRECTORS PROFILE


Dr. Alfred L. Frost, III founded the institute in 2001. He holds a BA in biology from Canisius College, an MS (magna cum laude) in Epidemiology from the Roswell Park Cancer Institute and a DDS (with Thesis Honors) from the SUNY at Buffalo School of Dentistry. He has completed fellowship research work at Roswell Park, residency training programs at the Eastman Dental Center (a division of the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry) and at the Genesee Hospital in Rochester, New York. Dr. Frost was engaged in the active clinical practice of dental surgery from 1985 through 1996. He has subsequently trained in medical, as well as general, hypnotherapy. He was recognized as an Advanced Certified Hypnotherapist by the National Guild of Hypnotists in 1997 and as a Registered Hypnotic Anesthesiologist by the National Board for Hypnotherapy and Hypnotic Anesthesiology, also in 1997. Dr. Frost was the founder and director of the Hypnosis Center of Western New York, the first hospital based hypnosis center in the region, which operated out of  Kenmore Mercy Hospital. He also served as a member of  the pain management committee of that hospital. Dr. Frost was honored by the National Board for Hypnotherapy with the presentation of their 1998 National Award for Professional Excellence. 

In addition to his health care career, Dr. Frost has a significant background in business development and management. He was  also trained and licensed as a securities broker. He is  experienced in direct sales / marketing as well as in brand, product and patent development. He provides copywriting services for companies ranging in size from sole proprietorships through nationwide corporations. Consulting services are also available regarding increasing customer traffic and profit maximization.

Dr. Frost is the author of numerous books, articles and CD's. He is a frequent speaker on the national stage  and lectures extensively. His most sought after topics include: education and test prep, sales performance / business enhancement, and pain management. In addition, he is available for individual, group and corporate training programs.
